However, many of the actors who brought these characters to life are now officially done with the MCU, includingIron Manstar Robert Downey Jr, who has no intentions of reprising the role of Tony Stark.

But it seems that Robert Downey Jr. isn’t the only star from theIron Manfranchise, who isn’t interested in returning to the MCU, as Scarlett Johansson also opened up about her viewpoint on the subject.

Scarlett Johansson brushed off the possibility of her return to the MCU

While appearing onThe Goop Podcastalongside her MCU costar Gwyneth Paltrow, theIron Man 2actress shared her viewpoint regarding her future with the MCU. Despite the rumors surrounding various MCU heroes’ return to their respective roles in the upcomingAvengersfilms, it seems thatScarlett Johanssonwill not be among the ones to reprise their role. The actress clarified that she is now officially done with the MCU chapter in her life and is ready to move on. She said,

“I’m done. Yes, I’m done… Chapter is over. I did all that I had to do. Also, coming back and playing a character again and again like that, over a decade of time, is such a unique experience.”

Even though theJojo Rabbitactress has no plans of reprising the role of Natasha Romanoff in the future, she hasn’t backed away from expressing her love for her wonderful journey as Black Widow.

After making her MCU debut inIron Man 2and eventually sacrificing herself inAvengers: Endgame,while making a final appearance inBlack Widow, Johansson’s MCU journey has been great to witness. Following her experience in the realms of MCU, the actress went on to commend Kevin Feige for the cinematic universe and its achievements over the years. During the podcast, Johansson chimed in with Gwyneth Paltrow while expressing their admiration for Feige by stating,

“He is. He’s fantastic at it. He’s such a lover of cinema and storytelling. He really is a fan… He loves it. He’s such a fan. He gets so psyched. You know, whenever I get talking to him about something or whatever… an idea, or a project, or even something like… We both are huge Disney [Parks] nerds and we talk about whatever’s going on at the parks and stuff like that.”
