Where Winds Meet A Rising Star in the 2025 Lineup
Among the long list of big titles coming in 2025,Where Winds Meet—the dark fantasy game from Everstone Games—is shaping up to be one of the year’s surprises.
Set during the Ten Kingdoms period of medieval China, this open-world title follows in the footsteps ofGhost of Tsushima, but with stronger fantasy elements.
With a launch planned forPS5 and PCthis year,Where Winds Meetwill now offer players a chance to try the game early through a closed beta.
Closed Beta and Release Confirmed for PS5 and PC
Everstone Studio has announced that the closed beta will run fromMay 16 to May 19, available on both PS5 and PC. The full release is also confirmed for later in 2025.
During the beta period, players from theUnited States, Canada, Japan, and South Koreawill be able to dive into the RPG, with language support forEnglish, Korean, and Japanese. Unfortunately, the European Union is not included.
Even though this is a work-in-progress build, participants will be allowed toshare videos, screenshots, and livestreamsfreely without restrictions.
Beta Details and Technical Requirements
The beta beginsMay 16 at 12 PM (noon)and ends exactlythree days later, on May 19 at 12 PM. This is afixed-time test, and the schedule cannot be changed.
Access is limited to thefirst device you log in on, andplatform switching won’t be allowedduring the beta period.
Progress made in the beta willnot carry overto the final game, but players will still get the chance to experience an early version ahead of the global launch.
In China, the PC version of the game has been available since last December, and mobile versions are coming soon.
For those interested in thePC version, the system requirements have been revealed—ranging from a modestGTX 750 Tiup to aRTX 3080, depending on your desired quality settings.
Laptop users will need at least aRyzen 7 5800HSand anMX450 GPU. The game will take up60 to 100 GB, and using an SSD is recommended.

Selected participants will be notified via email:PC players will be added to an access list, whilePS5 users will receive a codeto redeem.
