Crystal Dynamicsannounced that Jane Foster as The Mighty Thor will be coming to the Marvel’s Avengers game. She will be part of the 2.5 update, whichcurrently has no stated release date. The most recent patch, 2.3, was released in late March on most consoles. Patch 2.4 is currently scheduled to release in May.
The recent patches for Marvel’s Avengers have released on a bi-monthly schedule. Patch 2.2 was released in January. Two months later, 2.3 was released. Patch 2.4 is now set to release two months after 2.3. If Crystal Dynamics continues this trend,we may see Jane Foster in-game by July or August of 2022. However, that ispurely speculationon our part and should not be taken as fact.

The announcement of Jane Foster coming to Marvel’s Avengers comes not long after the release of the teaser trailer forThor: Love and Thunder. The trailer shows the live-action debut of Foster as The Mighty Thor, and she will be teaming up with the original Thor Odinson to stop an unknown enemy that is targeting gods. The movie takes inspiration from The Mighty Thor comics, where Jane Foster takes the mantle of Thor after the original Odinson becomes unworthy, even though she is suffering from cancer.
