Starfield was announced back in 2018, and on June 21, 2025, we will finally be able to play what the community has dubbed “Skyrim in Space”. Minimum System Requirements for Starfield on PC

When I opened the official System Requirements for Starfield I was very, very delighted to read what I’ve read. And hopefully, you will be too.

My PC (who also was best friends with a T-Rex ages ago) is almost entirely in line with the Minimum System Requirements.

Recommended PC specs are also not drastic. I am due for an upgrade to match this, but let’s be real, GeForce has a 30 and 40 series out already (GeForce 30 series being released way back in January 2022), and below, you will see that RTX 2080 is the recommended GPU to have to play Starfield on PC. Hopefully, the optimization is splendid!
