Weird West: Definitive Edition Announced for PS5, Xbox Series & PC Coming May 8th
The isometric Action-RPG Weird West is getting a Definitive Editon for consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox Series as well as PC on May 8th. This version will run in 4K resolution at 60 FPS.
Weird West first launched in 2022 for last-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One, as well as on PC via Steam. It takes on a dark fantasy version of the Wild West. It contains everything you’d expect from a wild west title, including lawmen and gunslingers, but there’s also the more paranormal side with fantastical creatures. The developers WolfEye are the same co-creators of the Dishonored titles and Prey. The title is an immersiveAction-RPGsim which provides a sandbox experience with roughly 40+ hours of gameplay.

What’s unique about Weird West is that each playthrough tailors the experience to the player’s actions and choices, making each run feel fresh. Players will need to pay close attention to their choices, as the consequences of their actions can’t be undone.
The title also receivedpost-launch contentwhich includes a Plague Event, Nimpossible mode and mods. The Plague Event brought an onslaught of zombie fiends and plenty of bloodshed.
Weird West is currently available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The Definitive Edition will also be coming to platforms PS5, Xbox Series and PC on May 8th 2023.
