Bill Cosby was once a very successful actor and comedian, made popular by his own sitcom,The Cosby Show. It ran for eight seasons and was quite well-loved by fans. Like all other productions, some actors find difficult relationships within the set. In fact, Lisa Bonet, who starred in the show, was allegedly fired by Cosby himself.

It also did not help that Cosby faced several allegations that ruined his career. Bonet was not even surprised with the news because of how the actor treated her on the set. So, did Cosby terminate Bonet from the show because she was pregnant with daughter Zoë Kravitz?

Her character, Denise Huxtable, goes to college. DirectorDebbie Allenworked with Bonet, but it was short-lived following the actress’ shocking termination from the show. Apparently, theAngel Heartstar was pregnant with her daughterZoë Kravitz, so Allen and Bonet broke the news to Cosby.

Allen shared in an interview viaYouTubehow Cosby reacted when they informed him of Bonet’s pregnancy. She recalled:
“I said, ‘Well, we have some things that we want to tell you.’ He said, ‘What is it? Are you pregnant?’ And then we were like, ‘Oh my God.’ Then he said well what is so different about it? He looked at me, he said, ‘You were pregnant, your sister was pregnant, and so now what?’”
