Montreuil, France-headquartered games publisher Ubisoft in mid-Aprilconfirmed plansto bring its award-winningPrince of Persiagame to the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. A pick up and play adaptation of the 1993Prince of Persiaclassic,Prince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flameputs you in the shoes of the Prince character who must save his Princess and kingdom“on a journey that will pave the path to his origins.”
Ubisoft yesterday confirmed in the first development diary video on YouTube thatPrince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flameis headed to iOS and Android on July 25. I’ve included that clip and additional tidbits after the break…
“The wanderer returns,”Ubisoft proudly proclaims in YouTube description.
You’ll be playing as Prince“in search of his unknown past on a journey to redefine his future”,depicted in gorgeous 3D graphics.

Developed by Ubisoft Pune, the studio focused on mobile and console gaming,Prince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flameis“easy to handle but challenging to master,”the publisher wrote on itswebsite.
Play as the Prince who must battle the odds again to save his Princess and kingdom on a journey that will pave the path to his origins.
Ubisoft promises fourteen levels set in various state-of-the-art environments.
The acrobatic platforming concept that was all the rage in 1993 will make a comeback inPrince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flame, enhanced with dynamic gesture-based touch controls or the more precise tap-to-move system.

You can also expect multiple enemy based combat“with a slice of tactics”, new weapons and powers to acquire, support for Game Center leaderboards on iOS and lots more.
