Developer Hotta Studio has announced an update for Tower of Fantasy will be dropping next week adding a new player housing system, new area and a long-missile firing boss to the game.
Tower of Fantasy Update 1.5 Will Add Artificial Island, Housing System and New Boss
Heading to ToF next week is update 1.5 arriving on September 15th which looks to be quite a major update adding not only a new Artificial Island to explore, but a new housing system and a new boss. The update arrives ahead ofupdate 2.0 Verawhich was teased last month. It’s still not known when update 2.0 will drop but in the meantime, there are still plenty of new additions coming next week. Let’s take a look!
Crafting on The Artificial Island
Yes, theMMORPGis getting a new island to explore. Here you will be able to gain crafting materials. It sounds a bit like similar systems found in games such asLost Ark, where you’re able to gain materials and craft some useful items. The island is also home to new areas such as the Ring Arena, Puddled Lake and Rusty Iron Camp, where players can face new enemies solo or with friends. The teaser doesn’t give away too many details but it’s an exciting addition especially so soon after the game’s launch.
New Player Housing System
It’s time to make Aida your home, as players in update 1.5 can now custom and build on their own plot of land. There are a number of buildings that can be constructed for different uses and there also seems to be a number of creatures that can also live alongside, maybe working for you in some way. This looks a little bit like Genshin Impact’sSerenitea Pot, but with more of a base-building kind of system. Housing systems are a great addition as players can plant their mark and add further customisation in a different form.
The new update also comes with a new threat, the Interdimensional Frostfire Dragon. This electronic abomination seems to have wings and shoot long-ranged missiles at players, meaning you’ll have to stay alert for interesting movesets. This robot dragon probably has some unique tricks up its sleeve so enter your peril.
New Character
Also confirmed is the newest character to join the game Claudia, who will be debuting the same day with the update, who seems to be using a long sword.
