The next mainline entry in the highly popular Street Fighter series is coming out next year, but according toVGC, that game was recently submitted in South Korea to receive a rating, which means the game has already reached a certain milestone in development to receive a rating from an official gaming committee.
Previously,Capcomannounced during its financial report that the company still has one more major IP launch for the current fiscal year. This means Capcom will launch a new big title until August 01, 2025, but we already know that it is going to beResident Evil 4 Remake. As a result,Street Fighter 6is expected to launch beyond Winter.

According to VGC,Horizon: Forbidden Westwas rated in November 2021 and then released in February 2022, but in the case of Street Fighter 6, we can probably expect a release date announcement a few months after the rating submission instead of a full release.
Obviously, Street Fighter 6 is going to stay around for several years, and as a true replacement for Street Fighter 5, it needs to meet the expectations of the community. While keeping the veterans of the series happy, Capcom also needs to make it newcomer-friendly enough to expand the player base. Of course, the fact that the game will be released on Xbox consoles, as well as PlayStation, is already going to make Street Fighter’s community bigger than ever.
Although Capcom has not fully revealed the Street Fighter 6 characters yet, but a leaked concept art from the game revealed all the characters planned for launch a few months earlier. That being said, fans will still need the official announcements and gameplay trailers to get to know each fighter’s combat style.
Thus far, Capcom has launched one beta session for Street Fighter 6, but it is expected to receive more early access opportunities as we get closer to the launch, and the developers will surely need feedback from the player base to balance the game and its fighters. After all, there is a big esports community out there waiting for the launch of Street Fighter 6.
