The newStarfieldDLC,Shattered Space, transports players to the mysterious and enigmatic planet of Va’ruun’kai, the homeland of the House Va’ruun. There’s a lot to explore and discover on this vast new land, but before we get to any of that, there’s a more pressing matter to attend to.

How to Earn the Harbinger Promised Title in the Shattered Space DLC

After you reach the city of Dazra, continue following the main quest until you reach the end of The Promised, Unbroken quest.
Starfield Shattered Space: How to Restore the Oracle’s Gravity
By now, you would have completed a series of actions relating to the induction ritual that will officially make you a member of the House Va’ruun. As you enter the final room to complete the ritual, you have a big choice to make.
You will need to pick two between four different effigies to place on two altars. It might seem random at first, but your choice will actually influence the title you receive from the Va’ruun people.
To obtain the Harbinger Promised Title, you simply must pick the Devotion and Strength effigies to place at the altar. After that, you will be granted the title of Harbinger from Inaza Kalsir.
What Do the Different Titles Do?
For the most part, these titles really only affect the way you’re looked at and referred to by the other people on Va’ruun’kai. For the time being, it seems there are no known consequences for quest rewards or NPC interactions.
