Star Wars Jedi: Survivorreceives a new patch on PC to improve performance and ray tracing effects almost eight months after the last one. And it seems to be the definitive update.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor New Patch
It was one of the best games of 2023, no doubt about that, but the state in which Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched on PC was unworthy of a game of such caliber. Many players complained about frame drops, crashes, and overall poor optimization.
It’s a shame. With each update and patch, the game improved significantly, but it has never been considered “100% fixed.”

Nearly eight months have passed since the last update for Jedi: Survivor on PC (July 22, 2025), and now Respawn Entertainment has released the long-awaited patch 9.
It was one of the promises made when the title was announced for PS4 and Xbox One (coming September 17), and they’ve delivered.

The new patch for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor improves performance (in frames per second) and ray tracing effects for the PC version and introduces a series of key fixes for many of its bugs and errors.
Additionally, one of the most controversial aspects, Denuvo DRM, has been removed, leaving the game in a much better state.
Patch Notes
These are all the new features of Patch 9 for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which is now available for download on all PC versions of the game.
Additionally, Respawn confirms that a patch for the PlayStation 5 version is coming soon, allowing save transfers with the imminent PS4 version.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been available since May 2023 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The PS4 and Xbox One versions will launch on July 08, 2025, aiming to emulate what Avalanche achieved with Hogwarts Legacy on last-gen consoles.
