Rise of the Roninhas officially announced the arrival of Team Ninja’s title to PC, with a release set for less than two months from now.

The game originally launched exclusively for PlayStation 5 in March 2024, offering players an intriguing experience set in mid-19th century Japan. Now, the developers have confirmed that the game will also be available on PC, with a release date of June 16, 2025.

The announcement was made just a few minutes ago, with Koei Tecmo releasing a video on their official YouTube channel in Japan. Shortly after, the game’s Steam page went live, revealing some of the special features that this PC version will include.

8K Resolution, DLSS, and More Enhancements for the PC Version

Several improvements have been made for the PC release, which will support 8K resolution, widescreen and ultra-widescreen displays, DirectX 12 Ultimate, 3D sound, real-time ray tracing, and the ability to play at 120 FPS.

Additionally, the PC version will feature multiple upscaling and texture-smoothing technologies, such as NVIDIA DLSS and Reflex (suggesting frame generation support), AMD FSR, and Intel XeSS. It will also include optimized keyboard and mouse controls with a user interface tailored for these inputs.
