Playstation Plus has added two new games to their trials Baldur’s Gate 3 and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
PS Plus Premium Adds Baldur’s Gate 3 and LOTR Gollum to Free Trials
These new games join a long list of current PlayStation Plus Premium free trials includingCrisis Core Final Fantasy 7 Reunionand the martial arts combat game Sifu. Both BG3 and Gollum were released this year but have had quite different receptions. BG3 has had stellarreviews(including our own you cancheck it out here) and has been nominated for a number of awards this year.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum hasn’t had quite the same glowing remarks. It follows the tortured character Gollum in a stealth/adventure setting. But you can try it for yourself for an hour to see what you make of it. TheLOTR IP still has a few gamescurrently in development so this won’t be the last fellowship you’ll see.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has had a lot of news as of late, with details about the upcomingphysical deluxe editionreleasing in early 2024. This one comes with a lot of goodies to display proudly on your shelf. While less grander than the limitedcollector’s edition, it will still be worthy of any BG3 fan’s collection. There’s also a rumour anew even harder difficulty modecould be coming to the game, although nothing solid on that just yet.
