The Pokemon Company has revealed new information during the Nintendo Direct this week showing off some new features for Pokemon Sword and Shield.
Pokemon Sword and Shield New Details Include New Pokemon, Camping, Curry, Customisation and More
The latest trailer shows off brand newPokemonunique to the Galar region which includes Cramorant, a flying/water type Pokemon who has the ability to use Gulp Missile. This bird type creature swallows pretty much anything that fits in its mouth. This can be used in battle, it will spit out its catch at its opponent.
There was also the reveal of Polteageist…get it? Pol-TEA-geist? Well this little teapot maybe be short and stout but also packs a punch with its ability Weak Armor. It also replicate itself by pouring out some of its tea, creating more Polteageists.

But new Pokemon weren’t the only new additions, the trailer features camping with Pokemon allowing trainers to create closer bonds with their pocket monsters. Playing with them using a Poke Toy or playing catch with a ball. you’re able to also visit other trainer’s camp sites as long as you have aNintendo Switch Onlinesubscription.
There is also cooking in Sword and Shield, cook up a storm with your favourite ingredients in quick mini game to prepare some tasty food. The trailer also shows off some of the the many customisation options available to personalise your character’s look. There are also collectible league cards which can be gained by battling different trainers and Surprise Trades which can be used to swap Pokemon with trainers globally.
