Moon Knight is one of many Duelist characters withinMarvel Rivals. With a fairly large and versatile kit, he enters into battle to help teams whittle down and defeat enemies that show themselves on the battlefield. Unlike most characters, Moon Knight deals area of effect damage on top of chaining his attacks off the enemy team. While he isn’t an overly aggressive character, he can pump out tons of damage to ensure that the enemy team is always low on health if they end up too close to one another.

How to Utilize Moon Knight’s Abilities
Moon Knight is a character that is capable of helping shred any enemy team members who have decided that they should group up. His Crescent Darts will bounce between enemies and will ensure that you are going to push your enemies out of the fight before they can get started. The best part is that hisAncient Ankhability can be shot with theCrescent DartsorMoon Bladeto trigger an area-of-effect attack that willchainoff nearby enemies as well. This is something that you’ll want to use often and sometimes early as well. You’ll want to be careful when placing the Ancient Ankh as it can be easily destroyed by the enemy.
He also has theMoonlight HookandRising Leapabilities for mobility and escaping enemies that have decided to collapse on your position. you’re able to use the double jump from Rising Leap to get a little higher up into the air, combining this with the Moonlight Hook to make it further away and glide to safety. It should be noted that sometimes the enemy will end up dealing too much damage for this to even work in time, so you can also use this combination of abilities to get yourself to advantageous positions within each map. Securing higher ground and staying back will be your best option for securing kills with Moon Knight.

Moon Knight Tips and Tricks
One of the best ways to engage the enemy team with Moon Knight is to use yourAncient Ankhas a fight starts. You want to avoid letting the enemy team see the Ankh before the fight and maximize how much damage it can do to the enemy team. If you are on the defense side portion of some maps, you may want to toss an Ancient Ankhnearyour position before the fighting starts. Since you can have up to two on the field at a time you can toss one at the enemy as the fight starts and use your nearby Ankh as a fallback position if characters likeIron Fist,Black Panther, orWolverinepush into you. You can double-jump over the nearby Ankh and hit it withCrescent Dartsand yourMoon Bladeto deal damage and finish off anyone willing to follow you.
If you can’t use the Ancient Ankh due to it being destroyed and on a cooldown, you can take this time to focus on targeting anyone grouped up. Using your Moon Blade and Crescent Darts, you can still deal a large amount of damage even without the Ancient Ankh. For example, if there is aGrootwithRocket RaccoonorJeff the Land Sharkon his shoulder, you can combo your Crescent Darts off of them very easily. Since they are still separate, they can end up chaining this primary fire off of each other and giving you a ton of ultimate percentage as well.

Moon Knight’s ultimate, Hand of Khonshu, is also a large area-of-effect ultimate that can be used to briefly lock down specific areas on the map. But another strong use will be to combine it with your other abilities. Use the Ancient Ankh, drop the Hand of Khonshu ultimate ability on top of the Ankh, and then use the Moon Blade before throwing more Crescent Darts into the Ankh. With this combination, you will be able to guarantee a huge amount of burst damage that is almost unrivaled in the game so far.
The cast in Marvel Rivals is filled with characters, and it is always worth testing all of them to find out which ones are for you. Moon Knight is a solid damage dealer that is easy to learn, the suggested combo for him listed in the game is very solid, and he is very fun to play. Despite it being harder to hit enemies at long range with him, he has options to easily deal that damage. Keep calm in the chaos and always be willing to throw out Ankhs to survive the onslaught of enemies, or ensure that the enemies won’t survive your team.
