It’s finally here. Capcom’s much-awaitedMonster Hunter: WorldBeta is now up and running on PS4 forhunters, both old and new, to get a taste of the latest upcoming installment.

Those whopreloadedthe game in advance can immediately jump right in. Otherwise, you’ll need5.9GBof free storage space on your PlayStation 4, in addition to being an active PS Plus member to join the fray. TheBetawill run for four days, ending on the 12th at the times below.
What’s There To Do?
TheMonster Hunter: WorldBeta will feature threequestsacross two of the game’slocations; theAncient Forestand theWildspire Wastesfor hunters to tackle. With each one having amonsterof varying difficulty to slay including:
And according to Capcom, completing all three quests prior to the Beta ending, can net you special items for when the full game launches early next year.

“complete each quest and you’ll get some useful bonus items in the full game! Just make sure you use the same Sony Entertainment Network account for both the beta and the full game.”
Furthermore, hunters will be able to wield 14 ofMonster Hunter: World‘sweapontypes, which can all be tested in the new “Training Room” feature from the game. There will also be potions and varioussuppliesprovided to aid in questing.

MEGA MAN You Say?
Yep! At the recent2017 PlayStation Experienceevent, Capcom showcased an amusing new trailer found below, featuring the iconic Mega Man, another franchise that they own. This crossover is to celebrate Mega Man’s 30th anniversary that’s happening in 2018.
Hunters will be able to outfit theirPalico companionsin an 8-bit, cel-shaded Mega Man costume, all complete with its 8-bit tunes echoing in combat.Another crossoverpreviously revealed forMH:Wwas with Guerrilla Games’Horizon Zero Dawn.
