Many games boast on player choices playing a large impact on the game but it sounds likeMizari Loves Companywill really deliver on that point. Depending on your choices, you can either play it as an otome visual novel or as an RPG.

What’s an otome visual novel when it’s at home?

An otome is a story-based video game primarily targeted towards women. Typically one of the goals  is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player character and one of several male or female characters. Check out the trailer below.

Mizari, a cleric, formed a mercenary band with childhood friend Nerui and a tough warrior Merrick. She soon found herself living amongst the demons she’d originally set out to defeat with her friends. Now she finds herself faced with living with the enemy and becoming attracted to the Demon King (or one of three other  romance options). She needs to learn to deal with this new life and the mayhem caused by it.

Mizari Loves Company can be an RPG or a visual novel. It’s up to you.

Mizari Loves Companyhas been designed with RPG elements such as an inventory, combat and quests. However, if you only wants to experience the romantic story then you can turn those options off and play it as a visual novel. So you can choose to see a bit more combat as you battle to unlock one of the game’s ten endings, or skip straight to the story scenes.

Mizari Loves Company’s developers are raising funds for the game onKickstarter. There’s also   a playable demo available onItch.io.
