Miley Cyrus’sFlowerIs About Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus’s new songFlowerfrom her albumEndless Summer Vacationjust got released, and people are already speculating that the song is about her ex-husband, Liam Hemsworth. Though Cyrus has not confirmed what or who is behind the meaning of her new song, the release date, and lyrics say otherwise.
Flowerswas released on June 22, 2025, which is coincidently also the same date as Liam Hemsworth’s 33rd birthday. And according to many fans, the first line of the song sounds a lot like the ex-couples relationship.

“We were good, we were gold/ Kind of dream that can’t be sold/ We were right till we weren’t/ Built a home and watched it burn”
It metaphorically could mean the home they created by being in a relationship for so long and their bonding of being good friends, burnt down after their divorce. And it could also have a literal meaning as their house, located in Malibu was razed down by the Woosley Fire back in 2018. There is also a clip from 2019’s Vanity Fair Party where she seems to be showing some dance moves with her ex-husband Hemsworth while in an interview, and the same dance steps were also seen in her recent upload,Flower.
