Part of the appeal of Vampire Survivors is its incredibly deep pool of characters. With so many options to choose from, each with their own passive ability and starting weapon, you can have a fresh experience with the same set of maps for a long, long time. As of the game’s Tides of the Foscari DLC, there were 57 in total, but the Chilling Update throws one more into the mix: the enigmatic ice sorceress She-Moon. If you want to know how to unlock She-Moon in Vampire Survivors, and add a touch of frost to your roster, then read on for a full guide to doing so.
To unlock She-Moon, the first thing you’ll need to do isunlock the new Whiteout stagethat also came with the Chilling Update. You can do this by collecting 20 Orologions, the time-freezing items that occasionally drop from light sources, across all of your runs.

Once this is complete, jump into Whiteout to continue the process. To unlock She-Moon,you’ll need to survive for 20 minutes in Whiteout. Since it’s a Challenge stage, that actually equates to finishing the entire thing. This may look easy on the surface, since all the enemies in the stage move slowly and are weak to fire, but you’ll soon find that Whiteout is tougher than you gave it credit for.
Not only are there some seriously sturdy enemies in this stage, but they attack relentlessly and in large numbers to boot, making their low speed but a minor roadblock in their quest to end your run. You’ll want to bring your favorite character for this one, preferably one that hasfarmed a good number of Golden Eggs. Alternatively, you’re able to take advantage of the fire weakness that the enemies here haveand choose a character with a fire-based starting weapon, such as Arca Ladonna orthe mighty Avatar Infernas.

Once you’ve endured for the full 20 minutes, your ol’ pal Red Death will show up and finish you off. When he does, you’ll be able to unlock She-Moon for use in all your future runs via the character select screen. Interestingly, you don’t need to spend any Gold to unlock her this way, which makes her unique as far as characters in Vampire Survivors go.
She’s a powerful character, starting withthe new Glass Fandango weaponand packing a passive ability that freezes every enemy on screen for 10 seconds once her health hits a critical low. This can get you out of some tough spots early on, and it also synergizes very nicely with her starting weapon and the Out of Bounds Arcana Card, giving you a solid base for a build right out of the box.

And there you have it: everything you need to know to unlock She-Moon inVampire Survivors. She brings a wholly new playstyle to the game, letting you leverage previously underused options such as the Clock Lancet in unexpected ways, which makes her a joy to play. Give her a spin next time you’re diving into a new run.
