Irohahas plans to take herTeahousefrom the town’s favorite to a famous eatery, enough to catch the eye of theCapitaland tourists from miles around. She will enlist your help as well asWoolby’sto distribute flyers from the skies to drop them into each village in hopes of drawing more attention to her Teahouse. After the flyers are all given out, she will leave the player and Woolby for the day.

The Flyer’s Impact

Woolbyand the player arrive at the Teahouse and see it filled with customers from all over, andIrohais overwhelmed, enlisting the help ofUlalakato keep things in check. Iroha will express her gratitude for the help and the booming business; however, Ulalaka seems grim and warns the player that this sudden boom won’t last for long and hints that they should come back later.

Getting To Know Iroha 1 (Recipe Research/ Taste Testing The New Dango)

AsUlalakapredicted, the crowds have stopped, and Iroha is crestfallen at the lack of business. Instead, after encouragement from the player, she decides she needs to make a new updated dango and enlists the player to grab the needed ingredients. After turning the ingredients in, wait a day and return to theTeahousethe following day to taste the new dango. While the new dango is flavorful and larger than usual, Iroha still seems more stressed out than normal. You will find out why once you hitBond Level 5.

Getting To Know Iroha 2 (An Unexpected Customer)

AtIroha’s Teahouse, you get word that a renowned food critic is passing by the village, having heard of Iroha’s famousdango, for which she happily presents a new recipe. While the critic finds the food good, it doesn’t live up to his standards, leavingIrohacrushed. While the player tries to offer some advice, Iroha locks herself away in her Teahouse to tirelessly work on the recipe, much to the disappointment of the villagers.

Getting to Know Iroha 3 (Remember What Made It Fun)

After three days of waiting, the player and other villagers, includingUlalaka,Suzu, and others, are growing worried about Iroha’s health as she has been working on the new recipe day and night. Eventually, it’s Suzu who bringsIrohato her senses by saying she prefers thedangoshe used to make when she still had fun with it. Iroha, the next day, presents the original recipe and impresses the critic at the same time, though she turns down the offer to expand her business to theCapital. At the end, she celebrates and thanks the player for their help, though she blushes, knowing another reason why she stayed after the player leaves.

Irohawill be in surprised silence when you first confess to her, and she will ask you to come to the Teahouse tomorrow to get your answer around noon so she can collect her thoughts.

You will enter a cutscene, and Irohawill then give a speech on her own to confess to you, from when you first came to the village and through all your time together, she knew you had a special place in her heart. If you choose to accept her feelings in return, you will begin a relationship with her and unlock morebonding eventsfor her romance.

More Trust Means Bigger Fights

For your first date, you’ll spend it helpingIrohaat the Teahouse, and so far everything is well until the end of the shift, when there is a financial discrepancy that causes the player and Iroha to have a public argument.UlalakaandMurasamehelp manage the situation, giving the lovebirds some time to cool down after the spat. Your date will end here until tomorrow.

Afterwards, at Iroha’s

The next day,Ulalakawill be discussing the dispute withSakaki, where the trio will witness the player andIrohahaving patched things up for now and working in harmony, much to the relief of everyone involved.

Suzu’s Secret

This date starts atBond Level 8and instead of a normal date, it’s partially a date, partiallyIrohawanting to keep a close eye on her sister, worrying thatSuzuwill get hurt. Though the two try to stay on track, they take a detour and browse for a new flower pin for Iroha to wear later on before resuming the search for Suzu. Suzu later reveals she could hear them and expresses that she wanted to get them a present for being a new couple, only to fail. Iroha apologizes to the player for such a strange date and offers to make it up for next time.

A Vow To Visit The Capital Someday

Iroha’s greatest dream is to see theCapitalone day. However, due to theCelestial Collapse,it’s nearly impossible to travel to. As a compromise, the player instead promises to take her on a grand tour to all the different seasonal villages to explore and be a tourist for a day in each place they go. After a wonderful tour, the player promises that one day, after everything is over, they’ll take her to the Capital and vow to fulfill it someday.

Marriage Proposal

After you max out your intimacy withIrohaand reach Bond Level 10,Woolbywill gift you with a specialRed Plum SaplingandDivine Spirit’s Recipe.Plant the Tree behind aDragon Shrineof yours and wait for it to bloom, then craft theDivine Spiritslike any other drink at a cooking station. Once you’re ready, invite Iroha to theFateweaver Shrineto initiate the proposal.

Marriage Ceremony

A day after your proposal, you and your new spouse will receive congratulations on your wedding day throughout all the villages, and go through a traditional ceremony whereRinorKaguyawill oversee the ceremony at the shrine. Woolbywill help you end your vows. Ultimately, you will be able to update your nicknames to reflect your new marital status.
