Nixxes Software is back with another PC port of a PlayStation-exclusive title, this time withMarvel’s Spider-Man 2from Insomniac Games. Like Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales, this is another solid port that elevates the PS5 to new heights with even better ray-tracing support and plenty of settings to fine-tune the experience on your PC. That said, if you can’t get Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to show the correct button prompts that match your controller, here is how you can fix that.
Enable PlayStation Prompts in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC
Since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has native support for PlayStation and Xbox controllers, you don’t need to use Steam Input which is enabled by default. To make sure the game correctly recognizes the PlayStation controllers, go ahead and disable Steam Input so that the correct prompts show up in-game.
That’s all you need to do, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will now show the correct in-game prompts depending on which controller you have plugged in. If you’re using a DualSense or DualSense Edge, you must use a wired connection to get the most out of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback.

If you are playing with something that isn’t on the list above, you may always enable Steam Input which does the job, but you’ll be stuck with Xbox prompts. Still, Steam Inputs gives players plenty of control over their input and it’s a great way to use third-party controllers that aren’t usually directly supported.
