Instead, Hot Peppers are used for crafting a singular item that comes in handy in very specific situations. Just a small dab will do as these hot peppers are crushed up to make a handy little drink to help battle the elements of some cold-hearted monsters.

What is a Hot Pepper?
Hot Peppers are a fairly scarce herb found throughout the world of Monster Hunter Wilds. They are meant to be a crafting item for a singular important item when fighting against specific monsters in some of the colder terrains.
Of all the collectible crafting items, the Hot Pepper is more of a unique item that’s used in case-by-case situations. Specifically, when you become too cold, you will getIceblight, which will affect the stamina bar. While it will regenerate just as normal, it will require more effort in using your weapon, and will decrease the maximum stamina over time much quicker. To cure this, you will need a Hot Pepper to craft aHot Drink.
Where to Find Hot Peppers
Iceshard Cliffs
Surprisingly, despite being something that you’d think would come in a hotter climate, the Hot Pepper isonly found in the Iceshard Cliffs. This is one of the few ingredients that this affects, but because most of the Iceblight enemies come from the Iceshard Cliffs, it only makes sense that you could get the ingredients here to cure it.
Most of the Hot Peppers are found in the second and third basement levels of the Iceshard Cliffs, but there is one spotjust outside the main campwhere you may quickly collect them. Immediately after exiting the camp, look to the left, and you will find a Hot Pepper just sitting there waiting for you to pick it up. Alongside this, there will be another just north of it next to a regular herb.
Moving down a floor, two Hot Peppers are on opposite sides of the map. One is located inzone 13while the other is in the northern part ofzone 6. Both are fairly easily accessible thanks to portable campsites being right near them, but the zone 13 one is just a short trek from the main camp given you can jump down immediately after leaving the safe haven.
The final two are located on the lowest floor, and once again, completely opposite of one another. The first is found in the middle ofarea 5while the last one can be found all the way inarea 1, right next to a portable campsite and between the exits to the next areas.
