Since Jing Yuan follows the path of The Erudition, choosing Before Dawn as its Light Cone was a no-brainer. You will receive a significant boost for Crit Damage, Skill, Ultimate, and follow-up attacks. This combines perfectly with Jing Yuan given his mastery of AoE and single-target attacks. Note:Every character that follows The Erudition path will have the Before Dawn as their top Light Cone.
Best Jing Yuan Relics in Honkai Star Rail
The best relic for Jing Yuan is The Ashblazing Grand Duke since it will impact the follow-up attacks’ damage as well as overall ATK. It is highly stackable and complements greatly with the Before Dawn Light Cone. As an alternative, you can use the Band of Sizzling Thunder which will both increase your ATK and benefit your Lightning DMG capabilities.
