Hismaris the great Berserker Dragon, a beast once felled byOzma and Khazanbefore the events ofThe First Berserker: Khazantake place. Found in the large courtyard just outside theImperial Palace, Hismars' body is corrupted by chaos magic, being revived once more for one of the final three boss fights of the game.

Hismar Patterns
While large and forboding,Hismarhas glaring weak spots and exploits that involve his underbelly, legs, and head. When his head is lowered, use charged attacks on his jaw and deal damage to his legs when his head is up for one of his breath attacks. The safest place to be is directly beneathHismar’sneck and underbelly, but not too close to his tail, allowing you to avoid the majority of his ground-based attacks until he takes to the side, in which dodging towards Hismar and under will be your best strategy.
He will often combine hisclaw swipesand slams together in a swipe, swipe, slam motion, dodge backwards out of his grasp twice and dodge just under his face to take advantage of the large dragon being stuck on the ground for a few seconds. The only time you need to watch your location withHismaris if you happen to dodge too far under the dragon and close to his tail. If you linger near the tail,Hismarwill swing his tail to knock theplayeroff their feet and punish your positioning.
At 50% of his health,Hismarwill take to the sky, cloaked in chaos magic as his attacks and chaos build-up increase, though the same weakpoints will still be pivotal in winning the fight. It’s recommended to have at least threemain healing orbsand five to six minor healing in the form ofUnstable Soul Tearstones.His first attack involves purple lightning striking the ground. Make sure to drink aChaos Resistance Potionas he rises to the sky to avoid a large amount ofchaos build upat the start ofPhase 2.
The only new attack you need to worry about is his lightning attack, which forms circles along the ground which can be run from before large damage is taken. Continue to follow the patterns fromPhase 1as Hismar will not delay in his attacks and will still follow the same pace from earlier.
Boss Rewards
OnceHismar’shealth is depleted, theBlade Phantomwill take things from there and aidKhazanin delivering the final blow to the Berserk Dragon, defeating the boss once and for all. After Hismar’s defeat, theBlade Phantomwill comment on the growing cloud of chaos energy towards theGreat Templeand lament that their joint mission is slowly drawing to a close.
