EA SPORTS College Football 26will be officially launching with two editions that feature two different covers.There won’t be a singular cover athlete for either version of the game.College Football 26 will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S onJuly 10. Pre-orders are available now for theMVP Edition, which includes College Football 26 along with Madden NFL 26 and three days early access. For Madden, the cover athletes typically dictate where the focus will be on gameplay and with two wide receivers on this cover, this begs the question if passing and playmaking will be the focus.

These two cover athletes are undoubtedly the leaders of the pack entering the 2026 season.National Champion Wide Receiver from Ohio State, Jeremiah Smith, will join the phenom from Alabama, Ryan Williams, on the Standard Edition cover of College Football 26. Smith helped to bring Ohio State back to the top with winning a National Championship, giving the Big Ten conference back-to-back titles.
“Being on the cover of EA SPORTS College Football 26 is a tremendous privilege, and I’m proud to represent Ohio State alongside Coach Day while carrying the Buckeye legacy forward, celebrating the passion of our fans and the tradition of this incredible program,” said Smith.
Ryan Williams from Alabama might be a future GOAT at the Wide Receiver position. This phenom set freshman records at Alabama, which has featured a ton of talent over its long-storied history. This kid showcased highlight reel plays and took over games for Alabama last season, which may indicate where some of the gameplay focus goes for this year’s game.

College Football 25 isn’t without its issues and its far from perfect, but this is quite possibly the best EA SPORTS football experience to date.
Deluxe Edition Cover Details
The Deluxe Edition of College Football 26 will feature a cover that celebrates everything college football. This includes coaches, former players, other current players to keep an eye on this season along with famous mascots. National Championship winning coach for Ohio State, Ryan Day, is included on this cover along with Notre Dame’s head coach Marcus Freeman and Georgia’s Kirby Smart. Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik joins Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love and Penn State running back Nick Singleton.

Other legends include Tim Tebow, Reggie Bush and Denard Robinson on the cover for the Deluxe Edition of College Football 26. The game will include 136 FBS schools, so expect the same level of pageantry and love for the sport the game showcased last year. This full reveal will be this Thursday for College Football 26.
