Appearing in a recent interview, Brian Cox revealed his thoughts on his on-screen children, his experience working with showrunner Jesse Armstrong, and how he seems to miss theSuccessionfamily. Moreover, the Shakespearean actor claimed that there could not have been a better job than this.

Speaking to host Seth Meyers onLate Night with Seth Meyers,the 77-year-old actor candidly shared the post-Successiondilemma. When asked about how his on-screen kids might be doing in the fictional world,Brian Coxamiably opined,
“Well, I think they are struggling in the fictional world. I think they’re doing very well in the real world.”
Successionrevolved around mogul Logan Roy played by Cox and the Roy family, owners of global media and entertainment company Waystar RoyCo. The show featured Logan’s three children, Jeremy Strong as Kendall Roy, Sarah Snook as Siobhan ‘Shiv’ Roy, and Kieran Culkin as Greg Roy. Hence, six months after the show’s finale, the Emmy-winning actor expressed his sentiments for the show. Cox admitted,
“It was an extraordinary show to work on, we did really become like a family and we were very, very close, and it’s very odd now. I kind of miss them…because it was the most extraordinary six years. You know, over six years, the whole thing took place. Jesse was just amazing- Jesse Armstrong, who wrote it, the writers, the whole thing. The whole job, it’s probably the best job I’ve ever had.”
Soon after the show concluded, the Scottish actor joined BBC’s online platform, Maestro,to teach and provide tutorials on acting. Significantly, it seems like a good opportunity to make efficient use of his talents, given Cox is a classically trained actor.

Individual Maestro courses can be availed at $99 while an annual subscription will cost $120. Safe to say, with Cox’s age-old expertise, having started teaching acting at the mere age of 24, it will probably be worth it.
