One of the most commonly used shotguns inModern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloadedis the Lockwood 300, and it’s been that way since the latest Call of Duty game launched in November. The damage that it offers and the familiarity that players have with it from 2019 make it an easy pick.

While the damage might be super high, you only get two shots and there is a ton of recoil on each one. That means we need to make the most of each shell. In this loadout guide, we’ll go over exactly how to make the best use of the Lockwood 300 in MW2 with a solid loadout.

Because of the varied ammunition for shotguns, there are quite a few ways that you can build each one. For most players though, the standard ammo or the Dragon’s Breath are going to be the best options. We have the perfect build for range and damage, and you can find all the necessary attachments below.

Barrel attachments are our first priority for the Lockwood 300. Both theMatuzek 812 Barreland theBryson Series IX Chokework together to ensure that range is maximized and spread is minimized. You’ll retain the classic spread of a shotgun shell, but you’ll have much more accurate shots with higher range potential.

Next, we want some ADS speed, especially for close quarters. We want theSweetspot Stockfor the added ADS and sprint-to-fire speed. Then we add the1mw Quick Fire Laser, which is a great mobility supplement for most weapons in Modern Warfare 2. Without these, you’ll have a much tougher time up close and personal.

Our last attachment for the Lockwood 300 in MW2 is the12 Gauge Dragon’s Breathammunition. These act just like normal shotgun shells in terms of spread, but they have more damage in the form of fire. You’ll lose damage range in the process, but the initial barrel slots are there to help.
