With the arrival of the Season 1 update,Modern Warfare 2has a brand new submachine gun that any player can pick up for themselves. Like so many other SMGs in the game so far, this weapon already has plenty of potentials to shred in close quarters or medium range.

Unlike the M13B, the BAS-P SMG will be available to unlock in the free version of the battle pass, so expect to see plenty of players running around with it in multiplayer. In this guide, we’ll go over what attachments you need to make the most of this Bruen Ops submachine gun in MW2.

Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 – Best BAS-P Loadout

As the season progresses, new loadouts will require trial and error. However, there are tried and true builds across the board for a standard SMG. We have worked to ensure this build alleviates some recoil problems and retains much of the mobility. All of the required attachments are listed below.

First on the list are the two barrel slots that are reserved for the recoil control on the weapon. The12″ Bruen SZ-36barrel will give the BAS-P more range, bullet velocity, and control. Meanwhile, theFTAC Castle Compwill help with recoil in either direction without too many negatives. These are important for getting that extra range boost.

Next, we have the main speed attachments in the form of theBruen Flash Gripand theBruen Flash V4 Stock. Both of these options are used to increase the ADS and sprint-to-fire speed in combat. Without these attached in Modern Warfare 2, you’ll face too many timing problems.

The last attachment is theVLK LZR 7mwwhich gives plenty of additional mobility benefits. Visible lasers in ADS are the only drawback, but you can always use a standard optic if you would rather go down that route.
