Best Medallions in Fortnite C5S3

Unlike the previous Chapter 5 seasons, there areonly three bossesthat drop Medallions in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3.

To make up for the decreased Medallion count, the perks for each Medallion are much stronger this season. The overall best Medallion in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 isRingmaster Scarr‘s Medallion, which provides you with a slightdamage buffbut more importantlyinfinite ammofor all your weapons. Whether you’re playing Zero Build or classic Battle Royale, infinite ammunition is insanely helpful.

The other two Medallions are tied in usefulness, and their utility really depends on your preferred playstyle and loadout. The Machinist’s Medallionregenerates your shieldover time, which is nothing new. If you remember when Medallions were introduced in Chapter 5 Season 1, that was all they did. If you felt comfortable with the increased survivability offered back then, you’ll feel right at home with The Machinist’s Medallion in your inventory.

The third and final Medallion belongs toMegalo Don. It provides you withinfiniteNitro, a new resource introduced in Fortnite Wrecked. Normally obtained via Nitro Splash or Nitro Barrels, Nitro is a new mechanic that provides various buffs to players and vehicles.

ANitro-fied cardrives faster, uses less fuel, receives buffs to attached attack mods, and unlocks an explosive ramming ability. ANitro-fied playermoves faster, uses less stamina, reloads faster, takes no fall damage, and unlocks an explosive bashing ability.

Ultimately, Ringmaster Scarr’s Medallion comes out on top of the trio overall because infinite ammo is just too good. Megalo Don’s Nitro buffs are incredibly helpful too, but some players may prefer the shield regeneration offered by The Machinist. No matter which Medallion you choose, remember that the same rule still applies:You’ll be visible on the map for the entire lobby to see. Equip yourself withnew Mythicsand good gear to defend yourself from incoming attacks.
