This episode will mark the first appearance ofDrea de Matteo’s Karla Faye Gideon, a character who has had ties to Daredevil in the comics. As for the team of super villains emerging in this episode, it’s possible that Geo Corvera’s Francis Noche could be Ajax. This character was primarily featured in the Deadpool comics, who was only known as “Francis.“Jeffrey Daniel Phillips’s David A. Angar is likely Angar the Screamer, who has the ability to cause hallucinations with one of his shrieks. It’s possible that the show may be setting up an incarnation of The Masters of Evil, but that has yet to be confirmed.
